I don’t want to live in this place

There’s a song called (Heaven) Must Be There from the 80’s group Eurogliders. One line of the song says “I’ve never seen Eden, I don’t want to live in this place . . .”

I used to really identify with that song since wherever I lived I was not happy. Ultimately, and not surprisingly, I figured out my discontent had nothing to do with where I was living and everything to do with my blockages of flow.

I also heard this growing up from a variety of people I met. “If only I could move to XXXX my life would be better”. “I can’t stand this town and the people in it, things are so much better in XXXX”.

If this sounds familiar to you, ask yourself why you feel this way? Sometimes it may be that you actually would be more successful somewhere else. I was born and raised in the northeast, yet my flow is more attuned to the California way of life. But chances are it has more to do with your blockages. If you lived somewhere else would your life really be that different?

The new year is a great time to explore this aspect of your flow. Maybe you do, indeed, need to move somewhere new. Or maybe you need to “redo” your current living circumstances. I finally realized that my home was a reflection of my attitude. I didn’t want to face certain issues so I was avoiding doing stuff with the house. Once I examined my flow I redid parts of the house (new paint, new carpet, etc.) and my whole attitude actually changed. The Law of Attraction applied! And my life became more successful.

  • im usually scurrying throughout the internet most of the night and so I choose to read a bunch, which isn’t generally a beneficial factor as some of the pages I discover are made up of worthless waste copied from different internet sites a trillion times, nevertheless I’ll hand it to ya this page is frankly enjoyable and even seems to have a bit of original material, so kudos for breaking the pattern of simply duplicating other peoples’ websites, take care

Thanks. A lot about flow and true life purpose is “unique” in the sense that it is counter to what most of us were taught. But the reality is it is the way things were supposed to be all along!
